As a Cyber Operations Tool Manager You Will:
- Deploy install and configure Atlassian JIRA Confluence and Bitbucket according to best practices and security policies.
- Perform system administration tasks including user management access control and permissions configuration.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations.
- Conduct regular backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate Atlassian tools with existing systems and workflows.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A university degree in a technical subject with substantial IT content and 2 years of specific experience or at least 8 years of relevant expertise in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator.
- Good knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and/or Confluence as an administrator.
- Strong understanding of networking security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) for automation tasks.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for conveying technical information clearly.
- Experience interfacing with IT Service Management.
You Should Possess the Ability To:
- Perform installations configurations and maintenance of Atlassian tools.
- Manage user access permissions and perform routine system administration tasks.
- Monitor and optimize system performance.
- Conduct regular backups and implement disaster recovery procedures.
- Implement and maintain security measures and protocols.
- Provide technical support and develop user documentation.
