Project Accountant

Reporting to Site Finance Head (Rayong)

Job Purpose Assets Accounting AR creations and bill passing for Capex Admin of New Project. Coordination with other Project team members & cross functional teams for project finance activity and compliances timely accurate accounting ensuring proper system and process for bill passing for the project spendings and assist the Manager for reporting and analysis to ensure monthly review analysis and reporting for the Management review. Responsible for performing and coordinating project finance site activities properly complied for and in conformity with systems and policies of the Company.

Dimensions

• Financial Assets Creation Bill passing for Capex General Admin of New Expansion Project at Rayong & Bangkok regional office by Birla Carbon Thailand a listed entity currently having Six Manufacturing Lines and as per March 24 Financial Statement having 262 KMT Production Sales 12976 THB Million and Net Profit 3238 THB Million and working capital around are 7678 THB Million.
• Staffing Reporting to Manager Rayong and working with Project Team and other colleagues based at Bangkok and Angthong offices who are working for MIS & Consolidation general accounting and treasury and tax and other finance activities and coordination with them and with other Plant and HO team and Internal and Statutory Auditor on regular basis is key for this position
• Geographic Position is based at Rayong Site and coordination and interactions with Project other functions and with Accounts Office at Bangkok Angthong and Corporate HO as required is key for this position.

Job Context This is position for Assets creation Project accounting system development with Store and Purchased for systematic accounting and control for Project and includes General Admin accounting coordination and assist to Site Finance Head.

Major Challenges

1. Responsible for bill passing and accounting for Capex spendings with respect to new expansion at Rayong.
2. Responsible for General Admin bill passing for Project.
3. Assets Creation and its monitoring as per IFRS Standard.
4. Coordination with project team members and assisting the Manager Rayong for Project controls and proper accounting for Rayong project.
5. To ensure accurate & timely processing of payroll and T/A bills & Administration expenses for Project staff and their financial accounting as per the Standards & Birla Carbon policies.
6. To advise for timely and accurate payments to all stakeholder (including employees) operating at Rayong plant related while coordinating with Angthong team.
7. To advise and submit timely and complete documents for Project Bills to Bangkok for timely payments and compliance and Cash Flow.
8. To ensure all compliances of local tax laws and to fulfil the internal and external audit requirements for above role activities.
