Mechanical Fitter for Local Workshop in Henderson

Rate: $59 per hour 40 hours per week

Location: Henderson Western Australia

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Henderson. Our workshop specializes in servicing industrial equipment for offshore projects providing critical support to the resource and maritime industries.

Role Description: As a Mechanical Fitter you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of industrial equipment. You will be responsible for assembling maintaining and repairing mechanical systems and machinery in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble maintain and repair mechanical systems and machinery according to project specifications and safety standards
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues implementing effective solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance and repair tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Relevant mechanical fitting certification or qualification
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter preferably with industrial equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical fitting techniques materials and safety protocols
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Excellent problemsolving communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
