Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a fulltime Surgical Technologist Labor and Delivery position. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Midland TX 79701

Start Date: 7/12/2024

Shift: Nights Full Time

Salary: $50000.00 to $60000.00

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to assess project and plan for procedural needs
• Possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques.
• Combine the knowledge of human anatomy surgical procedures and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physicians performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous clinical experience preferred.

Education:

• Surgical technologists graduate from surgical technology programs accredited through ARC/STSA a collaborative effort of AST and ACS by CAAHEP. CAAHEP is a recognized accreditation agency of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• In addition surgical technology programs are located in educational institutions that are institutionally accredited by agencies recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or The Joint Commission. The ARC/STSA is also a member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA).

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Must be certified or have been grandfathered into the surgical technology position. Those employees who were employed before 2009 who graduated from an accredited surgical technology program may be grandfathered into the surgical technology position. However if these employees terminate their employment and return they must return with Certification.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to assess project and plan for procedural needs
• Possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic techniques.
• Combine the knowledge of human anatomy surgical procedures and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate a physicians performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily
• Must be able to: Stand walk sit stoop reach lift see speak and hear
• Must use an assistedlift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.
