Moulder Operator

As our Millwork Moulder Operator you will:

• Machine Setup: Prepare the moulder by adjusting feed rates cutter heads and other parameters to achieve desired wood profiles.
• Operation and Monitoring: Feed wood stock into the moulder monitor the process and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished workpieces for defects ensuring they meet quality standards for smoothness depthofcut and conformity to specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks including cleaning lubricating and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Safety and Documentation: Adhere to safety guidelines maintain a clean work area and document processes as required.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in setting up and operating wood moulding machines with the ability to adjust machine parameters accurately.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control to inspect and ensure finished workpieces meet exact specifications.
• Maintenance Knowledge: Experience in performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery in optimal condition.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to document processes and maintain accurate records as required.
