Requirements

• Reconciliation Support: Verify that processes and data are consistent with agreed standards and expectations. Ensure assumptions are consistent across periods FX rates are correctly applied and lists of fees and revenue streams are complete.

• Audit Support: Assist the team during audits to ensure compliance and provide necessary data.

• Legislation and Monitoring Support: Support risk and impact assessments due to new or existing legislation. Perform regular monitoring to ensure compliance.

• Internal Review: Aid in reviewing and controlling past periods due to changes or other internal reasons.

• Adhoc Support: Assist in preparing presentations meetings and other internal activities as required.

• Archive Management: Verify and update archives ensuring all documents are correctly stored and organized.

• DST Return Drafting: Assist in drafting DST returns for the team s review.

• Monitoring Report Improvement: Analyze data provide feedback to Tax Data Solution open Jira tickets and improve monitoring reports for collect & remit legislation.

• Internal Task Support: Assist with tasks such as opening new vendors creating purchase orders supporting budget forecasts and other administrative duties.

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role. Strong knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and machine learning. Proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, Azure Databricks, SQL, etc. Familiarity with: Supervised and unsupervised learning techniques Deep learning and reinforcement learning Evaluation metrics, feature engineering, model selection and validation, ensemble methods, and explainable AI Category/Product Analytics,Store Analytics,Marketing and Promotion Analytics,Customer Analytics Expertise in visualization tools such as Power BI, Spot fire, or similar. Excellent storytelling skills to explain complex data to non-technical/business teams Experience in analytics, preferably within Retail, CPG, or E-commerce domains. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
