Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a remote position.

At Flydocs cloud computing allows us to modernise and consolidate IT infrastructure automate workloads and pursue nextgeneration innovation.

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who has experience of design implementation and maintenance of cloud platforms for our inhouse SaaS solutions and supporting our clients in the aviation sector. Having a firm grasp of emerging technologies platforms applications automation and working practices will help keep our business efficient and secure.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will have an immediate impact on the daytoday efficiency of IT operations and an ongoing impact on growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

.

Develop and implement solutions within the cloud space across MS Azure and GCP

.

Create and maintain products and services documentation and files for knowledge transfer within the team and department

.

R&D for new products technologies and services

.

Support rapid cloud solution implementations and customer engagements related to cloud computing solutions

.

Support the DevOps journey and design automated solutions to help our path to production

.

Ensure cloudbase systems meet confidentiality integrity and availability requirements any relevant/associated compliance needs

.

Troubleshoot incidents and outages identify root causes (RCA s) fix and document problems and implement preventative measures

.

Maintain operational best practice for cloud technologies

.

Demonstrate exceptional problemsolving skills with an ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity

Skills & Qualifications:

.

Experience of infrastructure architectures including but not limited to the following

o Networking (IP addressing DNS VPN Firewalls Loadbalancers)

o Public cloud Azure GCP

.

In depth knowledge on Microsoft server family and Linux Operating systems

.

Good experience of Virtualisation technologies

.

Highly knowledgeable with cloud concepts and best practices (ideally Azure secondary GCP)

.

Deep understanding of DevOps practices and solutions (IaC CI/CD Ansible Terraform Orchestration Bash PowerShell python (optional))

.

Excellent troubleshooting skills

.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field.

.

Minimum of 23 years of experience in the cloud space delivering solutions.

.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

Cloud certification (Azure GCP)
