Senior Front End Developer

About The Role:

We are seeking a Senior FrontEnd Developer (React) to join our team and take ownership of our frontend development. The Senior FrontEnd Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces building reusable components and maintaining high standards for code quality and user experience. They will work closely with the product team to ensure the best possible user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user interfaces using React and related technologies
• Build reusable UI components and ensure consistent design and functionality across the application
• Collaborate with the product team to define and prioritize features and functionality
• Ensure high standards for code quality performance and scalability
• Stay uptodate with emerging frontend development technologies and industry trends
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on the team
• Optimize user experience and site performance
• Identify and resolve frontend issues and bugs

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React
• Strong proficiency in React and related technologies (e.g. Redux React Hooks etc.)
• Solid understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs
• Experience with testing and debugging tools (e.g. Jest Enzyme etc.)
• Knowledge of crossbrowser compatibility and accessibility standards
