IT Systems Specialist

Job Description:

As an IT Systems Specialist you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the companys IT systems and infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability security and efficiency of our IT environment providing technical support to staff and implementing IT solutions that enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the companys IT systems including servers networks and software applications.
• Provide technical support to endusers troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and reliability of IT services.
• Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure and data.
• Conduct regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
• Install configure and update hardware and software components.
• Maintain and update IT documentation including system configurations procedures and user guides.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven 24 years of experience as an IT Systems Specialist Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems networks and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Experience with server management virtualization and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in operating systems (e.g. Windows Linux) and enterprise software applications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A Network Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
