SAP Basis Consultant

Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 46 years of handson experience in SAP Basis administration and a solid understanding of SAP system architecture and operations. This role requires excellent problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation configuration and maintenance of SAP systems including ECC S/4HANA BW PI Solution Manager and other SAP solutions.
• Manage and monitor SAP system performance ensuring optimal operation and minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.
• Perform SAP system upgrades patches and enhancements as required.
• Manage SAP user accounts roles and authorizations.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues and provide technical support to users.
• Work closely with other IT teams to integrate SAP systems with other applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system configuration operational procedures and problem resolutions.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 46 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration including installation configuration and maintenance.
• Experience with SAP system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP system upgrades patches and enhancements.
• Knowledge of SAP security user management and authorizations.
• Proficiency in SAP system monitoring and backup procedures.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration) are a plus.
