Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of mobile engineers providing technical guidance mentoring and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Architect and design complex mobile applications for both iOS/Android platforms ensuring scalability performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product managers designers and other stakeholders to define requirements feature sets and project timelines.
- Drive the endtoend development lifecycle from ideation and design to implementation testing and deployment.
- Write clean modular and maintainable code for both iOS/Android platforms following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest mobile trends technologies and best practices to continually improve the development process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile applications both independently and as a team.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance processes are followed.
- Monitor app performance analyze metrics and implement optimizations to enhance user experience and app efficiency.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration processes.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and hiring process for the mobile engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in mobile app development with a strong portfolio showcasing successful iOS/Android applications youve contributed to.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (for iOS) and Kotlin/Java (for Android).
- Extensive experience with mobile development frameworks design patterns and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide and mentor engineers effectively.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and a knack for creating visually appealing and userfriendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) continuous integration and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience with crossplatform development tools (e.g. React Native Xamarin) is a plus.
- Prior experience in leading mobile engineering teams or projects is highly desirable.
