Job Description

Job Title: GIS Analyst (Onsite)

Work Authorization: USC GC GC EAD H4 EAD

Location: Juno Beach FL (Local candidates only)

Seniority Level: Mid

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension(s)

Earliest Start Date: ASAP

MustHave Skills:
  • 25 years of experience as a GIS Analyst
  • Experience in Utilities
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a GIS Analyst (2 years 5 years preferred)
  • Experience in Utilities
  • Experience with Model Builder to help automate current manual processes
  • Bachelors degree in GIS Geography
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in understanding and improving tools and processes
  • Create host and update GIS layers as needed to support the business
  • Provide support for routing and site suitability analysis for substation and transmission projects
  • Produce maps for executives management multidisciplinary business units RFP responses etc.
  • Interpret and map legal descriptions from exhibits deeds and tax appraisers
  • Conduct research to correct and update existing databases
  • Perform data mining activities to acquire publicly available data

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should be able to provide an ID if an interview is requested
  • The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with the client
