Musthave skills: 5 years of exp / 2 y if any degree in cybersecurity; IPS and EDR and SIEM
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested. The candidate interviewing must be the same individual who will be assigned to work with our client.
Requirements:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Clients site in Palm Beach Gardens FL (required);
Experience in a Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) or Incident Response team.(2 years)
Experience in using security tools such as IPS EDR Email security Antivirus and SIEM systems.
Experience in analyzing and responding to detected threats and security incidents.
Preferred:
Experience in participating in or managing cybersecurity projects.
Experience in developing and improving cybersecurity processes and procedures.
Familiarity with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and countermeasures.
Education: Degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CEH)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Regularly monitor and triage alerts from various security tools including Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Email Antivirus and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
Analyze and respond to detected threats incidents and potential security breaches in a timely and effective manner.
Work closely with internal teams and business units to mitigate and remediate identified threats and incidents.
Participate in cybersecurity projects and initiatives as required.
Contribute to the development and improvement of cybersecurity processes procedures and best practices.
Stay uptodate with the latest cybersecurity trends threats and countermeasures.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
