TheRole

We are looking to recruita Key Account Manager / Commercial Manager to join our growing Team within ourHeavy Haulage department. This role is a fulltime position and considerationwill be given to individuals who have previous experience. As a highcalibre Key Account Manager you will drive engagement and collaboration tosell solutions to our clients.

Keyaspects of the role include:

Some previous Key Account Manager / Commercial Manager experience isessential (logistics industry experience is preferred)

Implementing core solutions in the customers processes in closecollaboration with internal account managers and planners.

Driving high levels of customer engagement and collaboration acrossvarious functional teams and stakeholders within the customers organisationleading to growth in account relationship pipeline and sales.

Establishing the right solutions and the path to success based oncustomer engagement insights and deep process understanding.

Experience of negotiating and agreeing contracts with customers

Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internalteams

Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn intolonglasting relationships

Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal andexternal stakeholders using key account metrics

Identify new clients within the market

Ensure all commercial plans are reviewed to ensure maximum margin

Excellent client service skills required

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Experience using Microsoft and Outlook

Requirements

Theideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise copeunder pressure and work to strict deadlines. Good communication IT skillsnegotiating and numeracy skills are essential as is managing expectationsacross a wide range of competing needs. Attention to detail a good work ethicand a willingness to cover a variety of tasks.
