TheRole

We are looking to recruitan Account Manager / Customer Services to join our growing Team within theHeavy Haulage department. This role is a fulltime position and considerationwill be given to

individuals who have previousexperience. As a high calibre Account Manager you will drive engagement andcollaboration to sell solutions to our clients.

Due to new contracts this exciting opportunity has arisen to join theteam at Metcalfe Farms Haulage Ltd based at the companys head office inLeyburn North Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will join a fastpaced environment alongside anexperienced team of planners and account managers. The post holder will workwith customers planners and drivers to deliver a costeffective and compliantservice.

Keyaspects of the role include:

Some previous Account Manager experience is essential (logisticsindustry experience is preferred)

Liaise with customers as their main point of contact to ensure theirneeds and any concerns are dealt with effectively as possible to develop andmaintain strong relationships.

Develop a thorough understanding of our products to help identify upsellcrosssell and renewal opportunities.

Maintain accurate client records keeping track of any contract updatesand renewals

Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve longtermpartnerships

Excellent client service skills required

Build and strengthen relationships with Drivers

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Experience using Microsoft and Outlook

Requirements

Theideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise copeunder pressure and work to strict deadlines. Good communication IT skillsnegotiating and numeracy skills are essential as is managing expectationsacross a wide range of competing needs. Attention to detail a good work ethicand a willingness to cover a variety of tasks.
