About the Role:
SoftLabs is seeking Senior Platform Integration Expert for ICT Labour hire at their technology consulting based in Canberra.
Requirements:
The Senior Platform Integration Expert will be responsible for: managing and maintaining specific ICT platforms including technical landscape design installation configuration deployment technical security and operation of ICT components and databases. Making use of their indepth knowledge and expertise of specific ICT platforms to provide expert advice on the management and maintenance of those platforms. working closely with key third party suppliers/vendors to ensure the provision of a robust infrastructure capability to the business and application teams. liaising with architecture and shared services areas to ensure the security of the day today technical operations.
Key duties may include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Negotiate engage and manage relationships with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability.
- Design installation and operation of the ICT system instance landscape client and transport processes.
- Provide broad technical support for project build test and solution deployment activities.
- Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert and assist and mentor less experienced colleagues.
- Support and undertake the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers.
- Prepare a range of technical documentations and reports. review and advise on a range of infrastructure solutions including technical design documentation implementation plans test plans and support procedures.
- Responsible for the delivery of optimal solutions that aligns with the current infrastructure and technology platforms.
- Resolve sensitive and/or escalated customer and stakeholder issues that adversely impact on policy performance and/or customer service including disaster/emergency situation
Essential Criteria:
- A high level of demonstrated experience in Data Power and API Connect technology and its use in a complex ICT environment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with integration technologies (REST APIs/Web Services/File Transfer).
- Experience working with system administration and automation technologies (DevOps techniques CI/CD scripts Python/Bash scripting JavaScript J2EE JSON Linux server fundamentals).
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following systems Data Power API Connect Java JSON JavaScript Python DB2 SQL WebSphere Unix and their use in a complex ICT environment.
- Experience in working with OpenShift/OpenStack technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in a serviceoriented environments including design and operational support.
- A high degree of organisational and time management skills including demonstrated ability to meet priorities and work to tight deadlines.
- Work independently and escalate issues/risks in a timely manner.
