Job Description
Job Purpose:
To oversees and ensures topquality standards throughout all stages of HVDC project execution. Responsibilities include implementing robust quality management systems conducting audits managing nonconformities and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Collaborating with project teams suppliers and stakeholders the manager drives continuous improvement to deliver highquality reliable projects.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management plans and procedures for HVDC projects.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Manage nonconformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with engineering procurement and construction teams to identify quality requirements and ensure their implementation.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams and suppliers on qualityrelated matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards customer requirements and regulatory agencies
- Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications Experience & Skills/Competencies
- Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in quality management within the HVDC industry with a strong understanding of HVDC technology and systems.
- Certification in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma ISO 9001) is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and decisionmaking capabilities.
