Project Engineer

• Technical Expertise: Utilize indepth knowledge of HVDC systems equipment and technologies to contribute to the design installation testing and commissioning of HVDC projects.
  
• Project Planning: Assist in developing project plans schedules and budgets ensuring alignment with technical requirements client expectations and regulatory standards.
  
• Engineering Support: Provide technical support to project managers design teams and field personnel offering insights troubleshooting assistance and solutions to address engineering challenges and ensure project success.
  
• Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation including drawings specifications reports and test records to facilitate project tracking compliance and knowledge transfer.
  
• Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers vendors and subcontractors to procure equipment materials and services required for HVDC projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures and inspection procedures to ensure that all HVDC components and installations meet industry standards specifications and client requirements.
  
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to HVDC project execution assess their impact and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain project continuity.
  
• Testing and Commissioning: Coordinate testing and commissioning activities for HVDC systems overseeing procedures analyzing results and ensuring compliance with performance criteria and regulatory requirements.
  
• Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols regulations and industry best practices to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents or incidents during project execution.
  
• Client Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients providing updates on project progress addressing concerns and soliciting feedback to ensure alignment with client expectations and satisfaction.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in engineering or related field.
  
• 2 years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on HVDC projects preferred.
  
• Strong technical knowledge of HVDC systems equipment and design principles.
  
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD MATLAB or ETAP.
  
• Excellent problemsolving communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  

• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety quality and professionalism.
  
• Certification in engineering (e.g. PE) or relevant professional affiliations is a plus.
