Job Description

Job Purpose:
To provide technical expertise project planning construction support quality assurance safety compliance resource management stakeholder communication risk management documentation and continuous improvement. To ensure efficient project execution while prioritizing quality safety and stakeholder satisfaction.

Job responsibilities:
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize specialized knowledge of construction engineering principles and practices to ensure the successful implementation of HVDC projects.
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in developing project plans schedules and budgets coordinating resources and activities to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Construction Support: Provide onsite technical support and guidance overseeing construction activities ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets or exceeds industry standards regulatory requirements and client expectations.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce adherence to safety protocols and regulations prioritizing the wellbeing of personnel and minimizing the risk of accidents or incidents on the construction site.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources such as labor equipment and materials optimizing resource utilization to maintain productivity levels and meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with project teams stakeholders and clients providing regular updates on project progress and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to construction activities assess their impact and develop strategies to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to project execution.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of construction activities ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating project tracking and knowledge transfer within the project team.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities for process optimization and innovation contributing to the ongoing improvement of construction methodologies and practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications Experience & Skills/Competencies
  • Bachelor s degree in construction engineering Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in construction engineering roles preferably with experience in HVDC projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction principles practices and standards.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication teamwork and problemsolving skills.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety quality and professionalism.
Additional Requirements:
  • Certification in construction management or related field is a plus.
