Job Description

A pioneering company in the energy and offshore sector is actively seeking a Lead Engineer specializing in Instrumentation. Role Overview:

The Lead Engineer Instrumentation will lead the instrumentation discipline within projects ensuring technical support and design compliance with set requirements including budget quality safety and legal regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate with specialists report to department and project managers and oversee the preparation and review of key documents and bid evaluations. Continuous learning and improvement are encouraged to enhance project outcomes.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the instrumentation discipline within complex multidisciplinary projects in the offshore and energy markets.
  • Provide technical support and ensure designs meet set requirements (time budget quality safety legal regulations) and follow internal and external procedures.
  • Collaborate with specialists and maintain effective communication with department managers and project managers.
  • Guard the quality of key documents and prepare and review bid evaluations.
  • Evaluate project work to identify learning and improvement opportunities for future projects.

Requirements:

  • Master s or Bachelor s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience including team leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commercial attitude.
  • Familiarity with classification society rules and design codes.
  • Proficiency in English both spoken and written; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
