Job Description

Do you have a passion for precision measurement technology and a knack for building relationships

VPG a world leader in sensor technology is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing team in Wendell NC.

In this role youll be a technical champion for our customers providing expert support and driving the adoption of our innovative sensing solutions.

What Youll Do:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique needs and recommend the perfect VPG solution.
  • Become a trusted advisor providing technical expertise and guidance on product integration and application development.
  • Partner with sales marketing and engineering to drive new business opportunities and market expansion.
  • Conduct customer visits workshops and training sessions to showcase VPGs capabilities and build lasting relationships.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to leverage VPGs technology for cuttingedge applications.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and enhancements based on customer feedback.

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (mechanical engineering material science etc.) preferred.
  • 13 years of experience in sensors design testing or a similar area is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate them to a customer audience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
  • A collaborative spirit and a drive to achieve results.
