Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
- 8 years of accounting experience and 4 years in management.
- Experience with startups M&A and managing investor relationships strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in the heavy equipment construction dealership or related industry preferred.

About the Role
The CFO will provide strategic direction of financial functions including analysis of investment decisions and financial implications. This person will be responsible for financial reporting budgeting setting objectives and overseeing back office functions. The CFO will play a key role in building developing and mentoring the accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage financial departments and staff across all company entities.
- Lead the implementation and improvement of financial systems processes tools and controls.
- Oversee monthend closing activities including GL accounts balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.
- Set annual financial goals and manage the budgeting process.
- Evaluate and report on the financial performance of all company subsidiaries.
- Offer insights and recommendations for both shortterm and longterm growth.
- Develop and implement policies procedures and processes with the senior leadership team.
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of all local state and federal tax returns.
- Serve as the main contact for external auditors and manage the financial audit process.
- Build and maintain banking relationships and strategic partnerships with vendors and business partners.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical reasoning and problemsolving skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to scale operations in a fastgrowing company.
- Demonstrated leadership ability confidence and executive presence.
- Ability to develop and motivate staff.
