Overview:

Electricians with Journeymans card or 7 years of direct electrician experience. Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment NOT facilities maintenance.

A qualified journeyman electrician with construction or facilities experience is not a fit. Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment in any industry (automotive preferred) Experience industrial maintenance electrical maintenance high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V down to 24volt DC circuitry. PLC experience Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important).

The company is a CNC Machining facility so having CNC experience would be preferred. Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.

Note: You DO NOT need a journeymen card but instead need the required amount of experience (8years) to be qualified.

Minimum Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Electricians with Journeymans card or 7 years of DIRECT electrician experience.
• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment on manufacturing equipment NOT facilities maintenance.
• Experience industrial maintenance electrical maintenance high voltage (medium voltage) 480V 120V down to 24volt DC circuitry.
• Electric work must be on machines in the manufacturing environment in any industry PLC experience Allen Bradley preferred Familiar with going through the parameters of Program Frequency Drives (controls engineers help with this but familiarity is important). The company is a CNC Machining facility so having CNC experience would be preferred.
• Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred. Candidate should be experienced with PLCs CNCs Frequency Drives motors and associated circuity.
• Most importantly should be able to show examples of troubleshooting these items. They will be exposed to but not limited to 24v DC 120v 277v and 480v circuits.
• Troubleshooting can range from troubleshooting proximity switches light screens and safety circuits cables ethernet and communication issues motors drives relays etc.
