Supply Chain Logistics Manager

We are looking for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to be appointed at our client based in Ankara a leading company in the manufacturing sector having Domestic and International Regional Directorates extensive postsales service network and collaborations with global brands.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparation of procurement requests and necessary specifications
  
• Preparation of shipment plans and active involvement in shipment processes
  
• Supplier research and evaluation
  
• Conducting budgeting activities creating and managing budget plans for relevant processes
  
• Obtaining procurement offers negotiating contracts
  
• Managing/reviewing relevant financial processes
  
• Invoice processing
  
• Managing/reviewing processes for acceptance of goods and services
  
• Domestic and international market research and updates
  
• Preparation of medium and longterm procurement plans
  

Requirements

• GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
  

  • Graduated from engineering departments of universities (Mechanical Eng. Industrial Eng. Material and Metallurgy Eng.)
    
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in domestic and international procurement of materials equipment and services
    
  • Preferably worked in heavy industry and manufacturing sectors
    
  • Experienced in procurement contract preparation and management
    
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills effective written and verbal communication skills
    
  • Management of domestic and international logistics activities
    
  • Able to work resultsoriented adapt to a fastpaced work environment
    
  • Advanced skills in management team leadership and reporting
    
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
    
  • Proficient in English
