Cashier

The cashier will ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. The cashier will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of handling payments resolving customer inquiries and promoting the companys range of products

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
  
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
  
• Collect payments via cash or credit.
  
• Issue receipts refunds change or tickets.
  
• Crosssell products and introduce new ones to customers.
  
• Resolve customer complaints provide guidance and relevant information.
  
• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
  
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas.
  
• Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
  
• Bag box or giftwrap packages.
  
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.
  
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.
  

Requirements

• Matric/ Grade 12 (NSC)
  

• A minimum of 2 3 years experience
  

• Computer Literate
  

• Attention to detail
