Job Description

Job Title: Events Manager Automotive Trade
Location: Hybrid Travel to Crawley office 2 days per week and Events as required
Salary: Competitive commensurate with experience
Employment Type: FTC 6 months with Permanent potential

In this pivotal position you will take the helm steering each project from conception to flawless execution. Your daytoday will be a masterclass in coordination as you liaise with clients vendors and internal teams to deliver bespoke events that exceed expectations.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven track record in managing successful events in the Auto trade or with HighEnd Luxury brands
Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Adept at negotiating and building relationships with stakeholders.
Creative problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in events management or related field is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning organisation and delivery of events.
Manage budgets ensuring costeffective solutions without compromising quality.
Foster relationships with clients understanding their vision and ensuring their needs are met.
Negotiate with suppliers and venues to secure the best rates and services.
Oversee risk management plans and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Conduct postevent evaluations to identify areas for improvement and celebrate successes.

Requirements: Proof of Right to Work in the UK. Relevant manufacturer experience. Smart appearance. Competency in numeracy, literacy and IT. Understanding of basic vehicle design, function and location of parts. Relevant product knowledge. Supports others to continuously improve performance. Seeks feedback on own performance, takes responsibility for own development. Understands the drivers of business performance and uses them to optimise commercial opportunities. Plans and manages processes, resources workflows efficiently. Demonstrates openness to change and improvement. Proactively looks for more effective ways of doing things. Knowledgeable of, aligned to and ambassador for the brand and adheres to brand standards.
