Job Description:
The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure ensuring the reliability and security of our systems. This role involves overseeing hardware software and network systems providing technical support and implementing IT policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the companys IT infrastructure including servers networks and workstations.
- Install configure and update hardware and software systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide technical support to endusers for hardware software and networkrelated issues.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance.
- Manage user accounts permissions and access rights.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and manage procurement of new equipment.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and implement IT projects and upgrades.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with network hardware and protocols including routers switches firewalls and VPN.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure) and backup solutions.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network CompTIA Security Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
