Garage Door Installer

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work setting: Construction. Installation. Repair.

Tasks: Determine layout and installation procedures. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Utilize hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints maps drawings and specifications. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Transportation/travel information: Valid drivers licence.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Repetitive tasks. Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).

Own tools/equipment: Steeltoed safety boots. Gloves.

Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
