Job Description

Reports to: Director

Location: Taunton

Contract: Fulltime (40 hours a week)

Salary: Up to 45000 per annum company vehicle bonus

The Role:

As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for scoping pricing winning and delivering a range of turnkey construction projects ensuring that work is completed on time on budget and to a high standard.

Supported by a team you will use your knowledge to come up with creative technical solutions for the treatment and management of sewage surface water and potable water.

This is a hugely varied and handson position where as technical lead on projects youll play a crucial role in shaping our projects and developing our business. No two days are the same.

Youll be part of a team who are as passionate about what they do as you are and youll be supported every step of the way.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out surveys of properties to establish functionality and compliance of existing drainage and waterrelated infrastructure.
  • Developing and winning a pipeline of work across domestic and commercial projects.
  • Preparing site plans drainage layouts drainage reports and asset audits for distribution and recording.
  • Using your knowledge of sewage treatment and water management processes to design and develop compliant and costeffective technical solutions.
  • Creating bills of materials and resource plans and preparing estimates and tender documents.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and monitoring health and safety procedures and best practice across all projects.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid experience in project management within the water and wastewater sector.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • A knack for problemsolving and developing creative technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in preparing estimates resource plans and project documentation.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • A proactive cando attitude and the willingness to get stuck in.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
