2year contract PILLARS a leading construction and engineering company in Uganda is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts/Project Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a fulltime 2year contract with the potential for extension based on performance. As the Contracts/Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our civil projects in Uganda. This includes managing the project budget timeline and resources as well as ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project budgets including forecasting and tracking expenses Create and maintain project timelines ensuring timely completion of all project milestones Coordinate with clients subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors Monitor and track project progress identifying and addressing any issues or delays Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements and regulations Manage project resources including personnel equipment and materials Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status and progress Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of project management Mentor and train junior project management staff Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management preferably in the construction industry Strong knowledge of project management principles techniques and tools Experience managing complex civil projects including budgeting scheduling and resource management Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and lead a team Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes in Uganda is preferred PMP certification is a plus If you are a highly organized and resultsdriven individual with a passion for project management and a background in civil engineering we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with PILLARS.
