Tasks

ROLE OVERVIEW:

• Develop and optimize mass flow and gas flow control technologies specifically for the vacuum industry.
• Design and implement control techniques and sensors for gas flow in vacuum applications.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical requirements and project goals are met.
• Apply knowledge in fluid dynamics thermodynamics and mechatronics to develop innovative solutions.
• Participate in projects aimed at advancing gas flow control and sensor technologies particularly in the semiconductor industry.
• Analyze and interpret measurement data to improve products and processes.Contribute to the introduction of new technologies and products to the market.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in engineering (e.g. mechanical engineering mechatronics process engineering) or a comparable discipline.
• Ideally 10 years of experience in gas flow control and sensor technologies ideally in the vacuum and semiconductor sectors.
• Extensive knowledge in mass flow and gas flow measurement technology (MFC MFM GFC).
• Solid understanding of fluid dynamics thermodynamics and mechatronics.
• Experience in developing firmware and applications for gas flow sensor technology and control systems.
• Knowledge in handling high purity requirements and corrosive gases.
• Ability to understand and practically implement complex technical concepts.
• Flexibility and willingness to work both in the lab and from home (at least 50% presence in the office required).
• Experience in managing customer requirements and developing customized solutions.
