The main responsibility of an Accounts Officer is to provide support to the Accounting Department by performing basic office tasks such as filing data entry petty cash handling processing the mail etc. To handle communication with suppliers via phone email and inperson and to process transactions issuing cheque and updating ledgers etc. Assisting with audits fact checks and resolving discrepancies.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Petty cash handling
• Debit Note/Credit Note booking
• Entering daily Purchases and Sales into Microsoft Business Central
• LMRA/GOSI/ETISALCOM Payments
• Weekly Report and Daily Sales Report
• Making slips ready for Cash/Cheque deposit.
• Provide monthly purchase report to the Finance Manager.
• Follow up with the suppliers for necessary documents and statements
• Prepare necessary payment cheques for other departments upon request.
• Change the foreign currency into Bahraini Dinar

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Minimum 12 year hands on experience in Accounts Department
• Knowledge about Business Central 365 Software
• Able to work with senior management skills
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills.
• Organized and disciplined
• Team player
