With a growing corporate client base (350 and counting) our diverse team is headquartered in Paris and operates out of our 13 global offices in North America Europe Australia Singapore Hong Kong and Japan. Descartes is trusted by a panel of Arated (re)insurers to carry out its activities.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Descartes Underwriting is seeking a Creative Studio Officer to manage our newcreative studio into our Marketing & Communication team.

The applicant will be in close and effective cooperation with the Communication teamand play a vital role in the production of attractive and engaging visual content suchas videos computer graphics podcasts photos and other types of interactivecontents for our various communication media.

Your missions will be as follows:

• Design and produce highquality visual content for our communication media(video computer graphics podcasts photos etc);
• Collaborate with the communications team to understand the needs andobjectives of each project (e.g. create a new brand book conceive the graphicsfor one of our booth produce video interviews to share talent insights make acorporate annual report do infographics for our social networks etc.);
• Take part in the development of creative concepts and provide innovativeideas;
• Ensure visual consistency and respect for brand identity in all creations;
• Keep abreast of trends in design and interactive media to provide modern andeffective solutions.

ABOUT YOU

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from a design or applied arts school or equivalent with aspecialization in video graphic design photography or similar;
• From 1 to 4 years of experience (including internships and apprenticeships) inart direction or in a similar position;
• Proficiency in design and production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop Illustrator After Effects Premiere Pro etc.);
• Proficiency in photography and video editing.

SKILLS

• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
• Outstanding creativity and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
• Good organizational skills;
• Passion for new technologies and digital trends;
• Excellent communication in English and French (written and verbal) is required;
