Job Description
Job Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Monroe Community Hospital 435 E Henrietta Rd Rochester NY 14620 USA
Pay Rate: $22 per hour
Schedule: Monday Sunday (candidate required to work 2 shifts on weekends)
Shift Times:
- Morning: 7:00 am 3:00 pm
- Afternoon: 3:00 pm 11:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to residents based on certification level.
- Supervised by MCH Nurse Manager during the day; MCH Nursing Supervisor in evenings and nights.
- Follow training and certification protocols including HIPAA and infection control.
- Engage in additional trainings directed by Director of Nursing.
- Aid residents in daily activities like bathing dressing grooming.
- Record vital signs as per medical staff instructions.
- Assist in resident mobility and transportation.
- Offer emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain clean safe resident environment. and nbsp;
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant with valid license to practice in New York State.
- Mandatory background checks fingerprinting and verification with relevant registries and agencies.
- Preferred experience in elder care and familiarity with dementia management
