Machine Learning Intern

This position would require the Intern to relocate and work onsite in Singapore for 46 months!

Upskills provides expert financial software consulting to investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific Middle East and Europe.

• Work together with our inhouse teams on our machine learning initiatives/projects
  
• Researching on the latest publications and proposing innovative solutions to enhance the initiatives/projects
  
• Design and implement system integration solutions and architecture
  
• Explore and examine data from multiple disparate data sources
  
• Make recommendations on how to optimize user experience and improved code quality
  
• Doing adhoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  
• Data mining using stateoftheart methods
  
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
  

Requirements

• Pursuing Masters Degree in Machine Learning Data Science Computer Science or relevant discipline
  
• Full proficiency in Python/ Java etc
  
• Knowledge on machine learning techniques and algorithms such as kNN Naive Bayes SVM Decision Forests NLP would be beneficial
  
• Knowledge of web development environments and languages PHP Javascript SQL
  
• Ability to solve technical challenges and solutions
  
• Good command of spoken & written English
  
• A fast learner and able to work independently
  
• Able to commit for 4 6 months internship
