Mission

The mission of the Financial assistant role is to support the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks such as
responding to the accounting mailbox following up on project closeout sheets issuing purchase orders and assisting with supplier customer and project setups. The Assistant will leverage their basic accounting knowledge and experience with NetSuite or oracle to ensure efficient financial operations while demonstrating a proactive and detailoriented approach.

Job Functions

Project Closeout FollowUp:
Track ongoing projects to ensure timely and accurate closeout.
Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary documentation.

Purchase Order Issuance and Support:
Generate and process purchase orders accurately.
Assist with supplier customer and project setup in the accounting system.

Financial Record Maintenance:
Maintain uptodate records of suppliers customers and projects.
Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.

Compliance and Audit Support:
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Provide documentation and support for audits as needed.

Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Requirements

Accounting or Business Administration.
Experience with Netsuite or Oracle.
Experience with issuing purchase orders.
Proactive detail orientation effective time management and teamwork.
Spanish native and English B2.
