Position: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Population: Middle School Students
Location: TitusvilleFL
We are pleased to announce that we are seeking candidates dedicated to revolutionizing the educational experiences of visually impaired students. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with educators administrators and families to ensure that students receive the critical support and specialized instruction they require.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Braille instruction and adapt curriculum materials.
- Utilize adaptive technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
- Engage with families to create a supportive educational environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or higher in Education for the Visually Impaired or a related degree
- Florida Teaching Certification with endorsement for Teaching Visually Impaired Students
- Required to undergo a background check and drug screening before the start of the assignment
