Database Administrator

Micro Talent we are a subsidiary company of an American business group called Arroyo Consulting and we are currently in the process of recruiting for our team specifically for the position of DBA.

Tasks

Our environment is completely in the Azure cloud utilizing the platformasaservice model (Azure SQL Database Azure Database for PostgreSQL Azure Cosmos DB). Therefore we do not need to perform many of the maintenance activities of the onprem model (backups operating system patches upgrades most high availability configuration etc.).

Requirements

• English level B2
• Good TSQL experience (Being able to write and debug stored procedures views etc. ).
• Good performance tuning experience.
• Being able to look at a database and see what queries were performing poorly.
• Being able to change the query and/or indexes to make it perform well.
• Understanding of schemas users and permissions (SQL Server or Postgres).
• Being able to learn the tools we use: Terraform Github actions Azure Portal
