Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Graphics Validation Engineer with extensive experience in Linux validation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of GPU/CPU architecture have handson experience with x86 processors and demonstrate proficiency in graphics drivers multimedia and various debug tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Validate Linux systems focusing on graphics drivers multimedia graphics APIs 3D pipeline and planes IO peripherals and power management.
- Triaging graphics driver issues and utilizing debug tools such as Windbg ITP GPUView tool etc.
- Conduct platform validation and board bringup activities.
- Engage in defect logging and knowledgesharing initiatives.
- Install/uninstall drivers and manage devices on x86 processors.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure comprehensive validation coverage.
- Develop and maintain scripts to enhance validation processes (preferred).
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GPU/CPU architecture.
- Proven experience with x86 processors and driver management.
- Proficiency in defect logging tools and debugging graphics driver issues.
- Experience with platform validation and board bringup.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and a strong commitment to work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Scripting skills (e.g. Python Shell scripting).
