Senior Technical AssessorInterviewer - Spring and Java Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Assessor/Interviewer specializing in Spring and Java Development to join our team. This advanced role involves evaluating technical candidates for various seniorlevel Spring and Java development positions ensuring they meet the highest standards of technical proficiency problemsolving abilities and cultural fit. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in Spring and Java development methodologies tools and practices along with a strong ability to mentor and guide the technical assessment process.

Responsibilities:

• Design and conduct comprehensive technical interviews and assessments for seniorlevel Spring and Java development positions ensuring a thorough evaluation of candidates technical skills experience and cultural fit.
  
• Develop and continuously update advanced assessment criteria and interview questions to reflect the latest Spring and Java development trends tools and best practices.
  
• Collaborate closely with the HR and development teams to understand complex role requirements desired skills and team dynamics tailoring assessments accordingly.
  
• Provide detailed actionable feedback and recommendations to the hiring team playing a key role in informing hiring decisions.
  
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Spring and Java technologies tools and practices ensuring that assessments remain current and relevant.
  
• Facilitate indepth technical workshops or discussions to evaluate candidates handson skills in a collaborative environment.
  
• Mentor and train junior technical assessors/interviewers providing guidance on best practices and interview techniques.
  
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the technical assessment process.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
  
• 7 years of experience in software development roles with at least 5 years specializing in Spring and Java development.
  
• Deep understanding of Java Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security) and JPA/Hibernate.
  
• Experience with RESTful APIs microservices architecture and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
  
• Familiarity with database technologies (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB) and ORM frameworks.
  
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate complex technical skills and problemsolving abilities.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor others.
  
• Extensive experience designing advanced technical assessments and conducting technical interviews.
  
• Uptodate knowledge of the latest Spring and Java development trends and best practices.
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in Java Spring or related technologies.
  
• Significant experience in a technical hiring or technical assessment role.
  
• Leadership or managerial experience in a software development team with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding team members.
  
• Experience contributing to opensource Spring or Java projects or communities.
  
• Familiarity with testing technologies such as JUnit Mockito and Selenium.
  
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Java applications.
