Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and increase productivity.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Develop and oversee production schedules to ensure timely completion of products.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance production operations.
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends solve problems and make datadriven decisions.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including design engineering and quality assurance to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in production processes and quality standards.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in production engineering or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in production planning software and tools. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes quality control and lean manufacturing principles.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in production planning and quality control.
Ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative solutions to production challenges.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a similar industry. Technical Skills: Proficient in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant tools. Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
