Health Safety and Environment Manager HSE

• Develop and update HSE policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
  
• Ensure policies are communicated and understood across the organization.
  
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local state and federal HSE regulations.
  
• Maintain records and documentation required for regulatory compliance.
  
• Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
  
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  
• Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees at all levels.
  
• Ensure that employees are aware of their HSE responsibilities and are trained in emergency response procedures.
  
• Investigate and report on all incidents accidents and near misses.
  
• Develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure they are implemented.
  
• Lead initiatives to improve HSE performance and culture.
  
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
  
• Coordinate and conduct regular emergency drills.
  
• Work closely with other departments to integrate HSE considerations into all operations.
  
• Communicate HSE performance and initiatives to senior management.
  
• Develop and manage the HSE budget.
  
• Ensure efficient use of resources to achieve HSE objectives.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
  
• Professional certification (e.g. NEBOSH) preferred.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management.
  
• Indepth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
  
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
