What you will be doing:

• Leading the financial reporting and controls of the business
• Coordinating the monthend and yearend closing process
• Assisting in establishing and administering proper controls approvals and procedures for procurement of material and capital expenditures
• Preparing reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position
• Assisting in the development of corporate accounting department
• Offering analysis and detailed reporting of financial information
• Creating a cohesive interactive relationship with operations leaders
• Assisting in preparation and review of annual budget process
• Taking lead on company financial audits
• Reviewing/preparing account reconciliations and detail with accuracy and clarity
• Preparing journal adjusting and closing entries as required
• Assisting as needed with acquisitions; including integration of accounting systems and policies with newly acquired businesses

Experience you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or similar area of study and 3 year’s previous experience
• Strong general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and banking knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Excel problem solving and analytical skills
• Exceptional leadership verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with equipment/laborintensive service industries or residential services
