Aquatics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated team member to support our Aquatics Director at our YMCAHouser branch in Onalaska WI. This position s time will be split between administrative work supporting the overall Aquatics Department and lifeguard/swim lessons. This is a fulltime hourly position.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the safety of all aquatics programming
  
• Assist in the scheduling of pool space for all poolrelated activities
  
• Assist in scheduling and supervision of lifeguard staff
  
• Assist in recruitment and onboarding of all new employees
  
• Lifeguard or teach swim lessons at least 20 hours per week (could include weekends)
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience in aquatics recreation fitness or a related field
  
• Supervisory experience preferred
  

Specialized Knowledge Skills & Certifications:

• Professional CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
  
• YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
  
• YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor preferred
