Drafting and Design Specialist
Join our client an industryleading fabrication company dedicated to providing superior packaged process equipment pressure vessels and piping for diverse energy markets. With a large stateoftheart facility in Calgary our client delivers innovative solutions for domestic and international projects.
Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate P&IDs vessels skids layouts and piping isometric drawings for process packages.
- Attend meetings and model reviews to discuss design aspects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and CADWorx for 3D design and detailing of components.
- Ensure compliance with project scope specifications standards drawings and other documents.
- Prepare precise mechanical and assembly shop drawings according to the project schedule.
- Check crossdiscipline drawings for adherence to fabrication tolerances and design standards.
- Adhere to safety policies and code of ethics.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Engineering Design & Drafting Technology graduate or equivalent education/experience.
- Experience in piping process equipment in a fabrication facility is an asset.
- Knowledge of ASME/ANSI B31.3 CADWorx and AutoCAD.
- Comprehensive understanding of P&IDs and piping layouts.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Location:
- Rocky View County Alberta (near SE Calgary)
- Reliable transportation required (no public transit service)
