Drafting and Design Specialist

Join our client an industryleading fabrication company dedicated to providing superior packaged process equipment pressure vessels and piping for diverse energy markets. With a large stateoftheart facility in Calgary our client delivers innovative solutions for domestic and international projects.

Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate P&IDs vessels skids layouts and piping isometric drawings for process packages.
  
• Attend meetings and model reviews to discuss design aspects.
  
• Utilize AutoCAD and CADWorx for 3D design and detailing of components.
  
• Ensure compliance with project scope specifications standards drawings and other documents.
  
• Prepare precise mechanical and assembly shop drawings according to the project schedule.
  
• Check crossdiscipline drawings for adherence to fabrication tolerances and design standards.
  
• Adhere to safety policies and code of ethics.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Engineering Design & Drafting Technology graduate or equivalent education/experience.
  
• Experience in piping process equipment in a fabrication facility is an asset.
  
• Knowledge of ASME/ANSI B31.3 CADWorx and AutoCAD.
  
• Comprehensive understanding of P&IDs and piping layouts.
  
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  
• Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  

Location:

• Rocky View County Alberta (near SE Calgary)
  
• Reliable transportation required (no public transit service)
  

Schedule:

• Fulltime 8hour shifts
