Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are a Fintech or Technology Sector player with presence in more than 10 countries around the globe. We are seeking commercially driven professionals to join our existing team to lead and manage the Finance Team. Your guidance will empower the company s leaders to make informed decisions that align with the organization s longterm goals.
Additionally you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing financial plans that support the company s growth and profitability. Monitoring financial performance identifying areas for improvement and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial reports including consolidated financial statement and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Providing datadriven analyses and recommendations related to the companys financial goals including analysis of costs pricing variable contributions sales results and the company s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the company s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for costreduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department set goals and objectives and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company s budget.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Assistant Financial Manager.
- Experience in services or commercial roles.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
- Proficient user of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Able to manage guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- At least a Degree in Finance Accounting or Economics and above.
Strong critical thinking skills, adaptability to dynamic environments, and effective communication within a team-based setting are essential for success in this role. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Operations, demonstrating excellent project management skills. Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Intellectually curious with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. Thrives in a startup environment and embraces change and innovation. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Displays maturity, professionalism, drive, and empathy. Experience in blockchain or fund operations is a plus.
