Job Description
This is a remote position.
Paradigm is seeking a Disbursements Analyst to support our client a global provider of legal services. The Disbursements Analyst reports project status and resolution to the Disbursements Team and Project managers. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of basic accounting principles operational procedures strong Excel skills and ability to communicate well. This position also requires a background and credit check.
Type: 12month contract
Location: Remote United States (Must be within 50 miles of Beaverton OR or Phoenix AZ)

As a Disbursements Analyst you will:
- Analyze accounts and data for accuracy. This includes extracting data from the company database and running queries and filters on this data in Excel to generate management reports.
- Be able to offer a problem resolution and implementation plan.
- Reconcile and investigate any unexpected discrepancies.
- Apply for tax identification numbers from state and federal agencies and respond to inquiries from these same agencies.
- Manage the application process to ensure that all required identification numbers are received by the target date.
- Maintains client and correspondence files.
- Prepare quarterly and yearly reconciliation reports for quarterly and yearly income tax reporting.
- Daily recording of time in company timekeeping system
- Confirm all posting of checks and other transactions to account records and investigate any unexplained discrepancies in account activity.
- Provide assistance and perform special projects and duties as assigned by the Senior Financial Analyst and/or Disbursement Team Manager.
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list include:
- Associate s degree from fouryear college or university; or some college classes with two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail selfmotivated and good critical thinking skills
