The Enterprise Release Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Development and work closely with a team of Project Managers Delivery Leads Scrum Masters Developers Product Owners Business Analysts and Solution Engineers. As an ERM you will support the implementation of complex highquality systems managing a scrum of scrum preparing detailed release schedules and managing enterprise risks.

Requirements

Your essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


Establish and maintain release cadence and coordination activities across Scrum Development and crossfunctional Teams

Lead the release processes at the portfolio level

Build and maintain Release Sprint and Deployment schedules

Facilitate Integrated Release Planning Release Scrums Scrum of Scrums and related ceremonies

Ensure deployments are promoted and test activities occur within development environments in accordance with the Release Schedule

Act as the primary interface with our internal teams ensuring defined Definition of Done requirements are met by crossfunctional project teams

Assist in removing roadblocks/impediments for the various teams

Maintain key metrics related to software development quality and related artifacts

Manage software application releases across multiple teams

Follow industry best practices and software development life cycle methodologies

Maintain and expand professional and technical knowledge through research training and empirical testing

Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience designing testing and coordinating the release and deployment of multiple large scale production systems

8 years related technical experience including Scrum Master role

5 years of experience as business analyst portfolio manager or program manager

Experience managing multiple Agile teams in a portfolio or enterprise setting

Experience in Azure DevOps Jira or Aha! in the context of software development and reporting across multiple teams; Azure DevOps expertise a plus

Experience with DevSecOps processes and/or tools

Experience with Agile practices such as continuous integration/continuous delivery backlog refinement and retrospectives

Understanding of traditional software development life cycle including planning development requirements management Change Management Quality Assurance and Release Management

Licensing or Professional Certifications as Certified Scrum Master

Location & Work Environment

This position is fulltime/hybrid environment you must reside in Michigan s lower peninsula and work four days per month onsite in Lansing.
