The Role Context:


The Wadhwani Skill Development Network (SDN) program empowers students to acquire sustain and progress in familysupporting jobs through sectoragnostic core and professional Employability skills sectorial employability skills and jobrole skills. This program has a mission to ensure sustaining wages for two million empower 10 million to improve employability and job progression and accelerate the digital transformation of few thousand training/skilling organizations by 2030. SDN provides an integrated digital and hybrid offering with a rich library of CORE and DEEP (futurejob role) skill content technology & wraparound services with full learner flexibility across careeradvisory (counselling) learning tutoring placement and post placement (progression) in partnership with private and government players.

SDN is poised to place 0.5 million students by 2025 in India and also create an impact on 1 million students and the incumbent has a crucial role to play here. This role requires to understand what are the emerging trends in the job market job roles / skills that are in demand across various regions and domains forge partnership with Government top employers in identified domains and platforms of other edTech companies and leverage these partnerships to counsel train place and provide post placement support to the aspiring students thus contributing to the overall outcomes of WGO.


Key Responsibilities:


Responsible for opening up channels and partnerships for India especially employer channel

Develop the employer channel in the identified regions and sectors.

Develop the Employer Channel by signing up top 50 employers in top 50 domains (Healthcare retail ITES hospitality Beauty wellness manufacturing and ESDM).

Strategize to Expand the Business in India especially in Self Serve

Responsible for identifying and implementing new business models.

Determining platforms and channels suitable for the company s business goals

Signup with Edtech skilling platforms /employer platforms (10 big accounts) by 2025


Representing Wadhwani Foundation with stakeholders (Partner connect employer connect student connect and Government connect)

Creating employers network

Operate in a fastmoving and sometimes ambiguous environment with full control and responsibility of achieving objectives.


Skills & Experience


20years of experience working in the Business Development Account Management and operations.

Work experience with placements of students after training education & skilling industry.

Market intelligence on industry sectors and talent requirements

Meet the target for SelfServe enrolments and transformation.

Strong background in creating systems and processes.

Strong communication skills and high EQ

Complex problem solving and skills.

Strategic/Innovative Thinker

Open to travel across India and work closely on the ground with different teams

Attention to details.

Drive team to meet objectives.

Understanding of skilling ecosystem

Experience to nurture and grow
