Veterinary AssistantReceptionist

We are currently seeking applicants for a Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application if you are interested.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic setting preferred but not required.
• Comfort and confidence in handling animals of various sizes and temperaments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
• Flexibility to assist in various roles within the clinic as needed.
• Genuine empathy for animals and their owners demonstrating a commitment to animal welfare.

Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records of patient visits.
• Collect payments from clients and process credit card transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of patient medical histories and treatments.
• Assist veterinary technicians with patient care as needed.

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (required)
